The week is wearing on me, because I had a harder time getting up this morning. Surprisingly I made it to work early and on time. Speed walking everywhere is great exercise. Speaking of that I really should buy a pedometer to keep track over the summer! I did more fact checking on the travel guides and lots of calling to confirm prices and make updates today. I also learned the fabulous mail system...hence the sarcasm. Well, no it's really not that bad. I get to send out current issues, mail back products that we have used in the issue and such. Not too bad. I got my voicemail setup at work too.... still no security badge... hopefully Monday. Met more people and some other fellow interns. Like I have said everyone is super nice! I like that I can take my lunch whenever and that I don't have people on my back watching my every move.
Speaking of lunch, I told you all I would venture out today. I went to Bryant Park and tried a place called Cosi. I had a Buffalo Blue sandwich. It was on their special made fresh flat bread with buffalo chicken, romaine lettuce and blue cheese. It was absolutely delicious. It had just the right amount of each ingredient. The wait was kind of long, but worth the deliciousness. I think I will have to go back again.
I didn't do much after work except sit on my hard bed and watch some MTV with the roommate. Speaking of MTV I think I am going to attend TRL. YES... a childhood dream finally coming true. Ha ha SIKE!! But no really I think I am going to do it! I can say I really do like it here, but it is a little lonely at times... so send me mail people!
I am going to cut this entry short and get some sleep. Work tomorrow 10-4pm and then at the Gap 9-6pm Saturday. I don't know my Gap schedule for next week, but hopefully it is manageable. Have a great night!
My Computer
A Mac what do ya know!? ha ha
The Office
Some people have a window, but I don't. I like their view though!
Dark Ages Sink
I have never seen a sink without a facet, but now I have. How old is our sink anyway?!? Oh yea the hot and cold are backwards too.
The Tub
So here is the foot of water that I get to stand in every time I take a shower until they fix it.
Times Square
I accidently moved my camera phone while it was capturing so the road looks distorted, but still looks cool!
The City
The scenery along my walk to work.
